Offered for sale is this pristine, Beautiful Haviland 1151 Baltimore Rose Pattern 7.5”Dia Salad Plate c.1906 with Gold Trim.

This lovely Salad Plate was a recent estate auction find, said to be from approximately 1906 and subsequently passed through 3 generations of an affluent Seattle area family. It is a perfect example of the Schleiger 1151 Baltimore Rose pattern in pink, yellow and green.

The pattern features large roses in pretty shades of pink, yellow and gilding on the rim of the plate. The edges around the top lightly scalloped and heavily touched with bright gold. Notice the fine raised detail in the porcelain along the top rim of this plate.

These roses and colors are beautiful! Please be sure to look at the photos carefully to make sure it matches your pattern as there are many patterns that look a lot alike. This is a rare opportunity to add this prized piece to your collection!

Characteristics/Features:
This is the rimmed version of the Salad plate, with beautiful pink and yellow roses adorning this piece with burnished gold and gold daubs.

Markings:
Plate is back-marked in green Haviland France over red Haviland & Co. Limoges .This is likely the backmark “Mark I” indicating this piece was produced sometime between 1894-1931.

Condition:

This plate is in excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing and all the gold is intact with only minor wear and is in excellent vintage condition. This piece will be professionally packed and shipped.
